David Kakareka is a Managing Director at Balmoral Advisors with more than 15 years of experience working with companies in a wide array of industries, including building products and services, business services, energy logistics and distribution, general distribution, manufacturing, and real estate.

Prior to joining Balmoral in 2023, Dave spent his entire career with Jordan Knauff & Company, a boutique investment bank based in Chicago. Dave earned a BS in finance from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA in finance and economics from Loyola University Chicago Graduate School of Business. He was named an Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor in 2017 and Top 50: America’s Rising Dealmakers by the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Network in 2018.
