I established Maple Capital Advisors, a boutique investment bank focused on M&A, Private Equity, Structured Debt and Accelerator based in New Delhi, India in 2010.

I started my Career at BNP Paribas in Mumbai, where I had multiple roles spanning credit, corporate banking and strategy. In 1998, I was one of the founding members of Rabobank’s India operations in New Delhi and had leadership roles in Corporate Finance. In 2006, I established the investment banking business at Grant Thornton, India and was part of the Global Executive Committee on M&A at Grant Thornton. In 2010, I established Maple Capital Advisors in New Delhi. Maple has been recognised in the Government of India publication “Ordinary Indians Extraordinary Enterprise” as one of the 25 companies selected and profiled in India.

I have experience of over 100 closed transactions spanning, M&A, structured credit, Private Equity and Principal Investing. My expertise is in M&A and Structured Credit especially in Consumer and manufacturing sectors. I have spoken extensively in fórums and covered widely by media on various sectoral expositions. I did my MBA from McGill, University, Montreal, Canada and a Mechanical engineer from MIT, Manipal. I schooled at Mayo College, Ajmer, India.

I am based in New Delhi, married with 2 children, play golf, and have avid interest in nature, trekking and photography. I also have an interest in fine art.
