Yves Blais has acquired practical knowledge and direct relationships with various industries and sub-industries such as services, distribution, manufacturing, retail and export. Throughout his career, his skills have led him to serve on several regional economic development organizations and on various advisory committees of financial institutions and public and private companies on a national scale. He has more than 30 years of experience in managing and negotiating transactions and knows the needs and concerns of small and medium-sized business leaders, having also experienced them personally during his years as a business owner.
 
Yves holds a degree in finance and marketing from HEC Montreal. He is also a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec. Thanks to his additional studies in the United States and his export activities, he is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
